Registration on site will not be available.
Early bird discounts on participation fees (conference dinner excluded) will automatically apply for registrations received before April 30, 2018.
Conference Dinner at the restaurant Die Waid on August 15, 2018 will be charged with an amount of CHF 120.00.
Conference Fees are charged in CHF, Swiss francs, incl. VAT. All conference participants are required to pay the full registration fee. There are no reduced fees for presenters/participants whishing to attend only part of the conference. Cancellation Policy Cancellations received at least 21 days prior to the conference date (July 23, 2018): You will receive all amounts paid minus a CHF 160.00 cancellation fee. The reimbursement will be issued to your credit card.
No refund is available for cancellations after July 23, 2018, or for cancellations received during the conference.
The Biointerfaces International Conference 2018 welcomes the submission of Abstracts for
- original contributed talks and
- poster presentations.
All submitted abstracts are reviewed based on scientific strength, methodology and data provided, as well as novelty and originality of the findings. Make sure your abstract is correct, as it cannot be modified once it has been submitted. The presenting author of an abstract must register for and attend the conference.
Please, remember the following important dates/information:

- With the submission of an abstract, you agree that your abstract will be published in the official conference app.
Please make sure that your abstract adheres to the template (MS-Word or RTF document).
Abstracts must not exceed one page and 2 MB in size.
The receipt of your Abstract and its technical adherence to the template will be confirmed within a few days by e-Mail.
There will be 14 slots available for oral contributions which will consist of 15 + 5 minutes for the presentation and questions. Oral contributions will be selected by the International Scientific Committee based on their novelty and scientific quality. If you wish to be considered for an oral presentation, please indicate this preference on the abstract submission. Abstracts that are accepted but not selected for an oral presentation will be automatically invited to present a poster.
For the 3-day poster session, posters must be DIN A0 Format and portrait orientation (height: 119 cm, width: 84 cm) Please adhere to the guidelines for poster presenters!
Biointerfaces International Conference 2018 Zurich will offer several awards for the best poster contributions. The authors will receive a cash award!
